Setting out to fix the problem

While I was still in Quito, I tried working through the registrar's office to resolve the erroneous "incomplete/fail" grade which I had received for a course I never took. To make matters worse, I wasn't able to contact the professor of this course because he had left on sabbatical. So my erroneous grade sat on my transcripts for 2 and a half years. Then, in December of 2005, I decided to try again. To my surprise, I got an email response from the professor. (I think I had actually received an initial "I'll look into the matter" response from him prior to this, but unfortunately, that email is too old for me to be able to access.) What I do have saved is all of my correspondence with USFQ faculty and staff beginning in December 2005. I will now post each email.
